Property Owner & Agent Listing Policy
This policy outlines the responsibilities and obligations of all property owners and agents (“you”) who list on Disability Destinations (“we” / “our platform”). By submitting a property for listing, you agree to comply with the terms set out below.
1. Role of Disability Destinations
- Disability Destinations operates solely as an intermediary advertising and booking platform.
- We are not a property owner, manager, or agent and do not verify the physical condition of any property.
- All interactions, bookings, payments, and agreements are strictly between the property owner/agent and the guest.
2. Listing Accuracy and Updates
- All information provided in your listing (including accessibility features, amenities, pricing, and availability) must be accurate, truthful, and complete.
- You are responsible for keeping your listing up to date at all times. Outdated or misleading information may result in suspension or removal.
- Any claims regarding accessibility features must reflect actual conditions at the property.
3. Images, Videos, and Materials
- All images, videos, and written content submitted must be owned by you or used with express permission from the copyright holder.
- You grant Disability Destinations a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submitted materials for marketing, promotional, and display purposes across our platform and associated channels.
- Content must not be misleading, offensive, discriminatory, or infringe on third-party rights.
4. Guest Interactions and Bookings
- You are fully responsible for:
- Responding to guest enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Managing bookings, cancellations, and refunds (where applicable)
- Providing accurate check-in details, house rules, and guest support
- Disability Destinations is not responsible for guest communication, booking confirmations, or disputes.
5. Disputes and Complaints
- All disputes, claims, and complaints arising from a booking or property stay are the sole responsibility of the property owner/agent.
- Disability Destinations may review complaints for quality control, but will not mediate or accept liability.
6. Payments, Fees, and Taxes
- Listing fees, subscriptions, or commissions (where applicable) must be paid in line with your chosen plan.
- Fees are non-refundable once a listing is live, unless required by law.
- You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any taxes, charges, or levies related to income from your property.
7. Compliance with Laws
- All listed properties must comply with applicable local laws, planning regulations, licensing rules, and health and safety standards.
- Owners/agents are responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance coverage is in place.
8. Guest Safety and Accessibility
- You must take reasonable steps to ensure your property is safe for guests at all times.
- Accessibility features listed must be available and functional. Misrepresentation of accessibility is grounds for immediate removal.
9. Reviews and Feedback
- Guests may leave reviews on your listing, which must not be altered, deleted, or manipulated.
- You may reply to reviews, but must maintain professionalism and avoid harassing or intimidating guests.
- Disability Destinations reserves the right to remove reviews that breach our community standards.
10. Platform Rights
- Disability Destinations reserves the right to:
- Edit listings for clarity, grammar, or formatting
- Suspend or remove listings that breach this policy or receive repeated, verified complaints
- Feature or promote listings at our discretion across our website, marketing, and affiliate channels
11. Accountability
- Property owners and agents must maintain an active account and respond to communications through the platform.
- Failure to engage with guest enquiries or platform communications may result in suspension.
12. Reporting and Corrections
- If you discover any incorrect information on your listing (whether input by you or generated via affiliate data), you must notify us promptly so that we can review and correct it.
