Chestnut Barn is a beautifully converted, three-bedroom barn situated deep within the 1,500-acre private Notgrove Estate, right in the heart of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by stunning countryside and with excellent on-site and nearby facilities, it offers high-quality, self-catering accommodation that’s ideal for families, friends, and guests with limited mobility.

The barn features a spacious open-plan ground floor with a comfortable living area, contemporary kitchen, and large windows that fill the space with natural light. The layout has been designed with accessibility in mind – there’s a ground-floor bedroom and an open-plan en-suite wet room with grab rails, making it suitable for those with reduced mobility. While the barn is not fully wheelchair accessible due to limited space around some furniture, it’s a great choice for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. A shower chair can also be provided on request.

Upstairs, you’ll find two additional large bedrooms, each tastefully decorated with soft furnishings and thoughtful design touches, along with a stylish family bathroom. The barn has been lovingly built by local craftsmen using traditional Cotswold stone, blending modern comforts with rustic charm.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden complete with a table, chairs, and a charcoal BBQ – perfect for al fresco dining in warmer months. The living area includes a wood burner for cosy evenings in, with kindling and logs provided. Dogs are welcome too, and essentials like bowls, towels, and poo bags are included.
