The owners live on-site, within the two-acre grounds, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cottage offers stunning, ever-changing views of the Cromarty Firth and the majestic mountains of Easter Ross, visible from both bedrooms and the lounge. The view shifts with the tides and the changing light, creating a picturesque backdrop. The tidal firth is a haven for wildlife, where Ospreys can often be seen fishing in the summer, and in winter, thousands of geese flock to the fields and overhead.

Modern, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean, Osprey Cottage is a peaceful getaway. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area offers panoramic views across the Cromarty Firth towards Ben Wyvis. It’s an ideal base for exploring the Highlands, with some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery—Glen Affric, Loch Ness, Torridon, and Assynt—all within an hour’s drive. The Black Isle itself is home to historic villages like Cromarty, beautiful beaches such as Rosemarkie, and Chanonry Point, renowned for its dolphin sightings. The cottage is also pet-friendly, welcoming up to two well-behaved pets by arrangement.
