Internal Layout

Bedrooms
Apartments are available with one or two bedrooms, all featuring twin beds. Profiling beds are provided, with extendable bed options available where required. Transfer space beside beds exceeds 1 metre, supporting assisted or independent transfers.
Bathroom and Shower Facilities
Each apartment includes a wheelchair-friendly wet room with a step-free shower. Handrails are fitted, and wash basins allow wheelchair access beneath. Hoists and additional equipment are available on request to support personal care needs.

Braddan Bridge House is a purpose-built, wheelchair friendly apartment complex located in the village of Braddan, just outside Douglas on the Isle of Man. Operated by the Joey Dunlop Foundation, this thoughtfully designed property provides high-quality, accessible accommodation for guests with mobility needs, offering comfort, space, and flexibility in a supportive environment.
The complex consists of five fully accessible apartments. Three apartments are located on the ground floor with level access from the courtyard, while two are positioned on the first floor and can be accessed via a platform lift or external steps. Apartments are available in one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts, all furnished with twin beds. The first-floor apartments can interconnect, allowing accommodation for up to eight guests when required.
Each apartment has been designed to support independence and ease of use, with spacious internal layouts, accessible kitchens, and wheelchair-friendly wet rooms. Profiling beds are provided, with hoists available on request, allowing the accommodation to be tailored to individual needs. The property also offers extendable beds and oxygen availability for guests with additional medical or specialist requirements.
Guests benefit from practical on-site amenities including parking, EV charging points, WiFi, a self-service laundry, and shared outdoor picnic and BBQ areas. The large concrete car park offers ramped access and connects directly to public walkways, supporting easy movement around the site and beyond.
